Thompson’s Lakeside Cabins are located on Beautiful Horsehead Lake in the Town of Lake Tomahawk. Located near the McNaughton Trail for Hiking and on a bike trail. Great area for fishing, hiking, swimming & plain relaxing.

Cabins are all One Bedroom that can accommodate up to 4 people per cabin. The Cabins are located on our 12 acre resort overlooking Horsehead Lake.
Thompson's Lakeside Cabins are located only 12 miles from the Gates of Hodag Summer Festival, we are only 20 minutes from the Tomahawk Harley Festival in the Fall and located 18 miles from the Casino Lac du Flambeau.
7 miles from Hwy 51 and 2 miles from Hwy 47 centrally located between Minocqua, Woodruff, Lake Tomahawk and Rhinelander.

Each Cabin is fully equipped with Queen bed or bed’s all bed linens, towels, kitchen necessities included. Access to fire pit, charcoal grills, lawn chairs and firewood included.
Each cabin is equipped with futons or pull out couch, coffeemaker, microwave, refrigerator, stove or hot plates along with crock pots ,pots, pans& utensils.
Each cabin has basic TV’s and players. Wi-Fi available.
Full lake access and ideal for all watersports including water skiing, canoeing, fishing, kayaking swimming.
We offer for rent Canoe, Kayak, Pontoon, Fishing boats with or with out motors. Our Dock is available for hosting your vessil or fishing from.
Dog Friendly and based on our discretion. We have Golden Retrievers'!
